Self Portrait: Month Five
I can't believe that this is the FIFTH self portrait session this year - it is going by so fast!! This months self portraits were inspired by the more casual side of my wardrobe. I usually dress on the casual side, but in this sense of casual I mean ripped jeans and band tee shirts - yknow? I don't usually wear this type of thing, but sometimes I am definitely in the mood for it, so I thought that would be cool to capture! For this particular session I wore some awesome ripped Levis and one of Jasons old football tee shirts! I love wearing his football shirts because I appreciate the simplicity of the design and how it fits me.
I figured that the best location to compliment this outfit would be something urban! There is a parking garage in downtown Red Deer that I had my eye on, but when we went there on Tuesday night, it was locked up! Thankfully, the bus station/parking garage was unlocked so we climbed the stairs and shot for around 30 minutes! I set up my tripod on the roof and used Jason as a test subject so that I could properly focus my camera. It worked perfectly, I love having Jason with me on these sessions! He ended up with me in a lot of the shots and I am in LOVE with them, I think I will end up printing some of the shots of us because they are just so cute and SO "us"!
