two beautiful ways to capture your love… your pick
Whether it’s candid photos of you and your honey in the badlands, or a nostalgic film of your elopement in the hills — or both — I’m here for it all!

01. WE MEET
After our initial emails, I will send you some more information telling you a little bit more about what our session is going to look like. We will then make plans to either meet for coffee at a local coffee shop, or schedule an digital meeting so that we can learn a bit more about one another and sign the contract! We will chat details about your vision, the types of images you would like to have captured, the location, inspiration, outfits, and other wonderful elements.
02. YOUR SESSION
On the day, we will meet at the agreed upon location and begin capturing you! We will explore, talk about you, laugh, and create beautiful moments! I will direct you, rather than pose you and encourage natural moments to blossom!
03. THE GALLERY
A few days after your session, I will send you some sneak peeks via email. Approximately one month later, you will receive an online gallery with all of the edited images! They will be digital, high resolution files that you can download straight to your computer to share with your family and friends. I also send web-size files which are perfect for social media sharing. I recommend downloading all of the images onto an external hard drive or a USB stick so that you can store them somewhere safe for years to come. When it comes to prints, I recommend: Pikto, Parabo Press, & Artifact Uprising. You can also order prints through your gallery!
Weddings start at $4400
Sessions start at $400

01. FILM
I am so excited to offer super 8 films as an add on to photo packages. Lets talk about what super 8 film actually is. Super 8mm cameras & film were created in the 1960s for families to be able to capture ‘home movies’. It is a reel of thin film (50 feet to be exact), that gets loaded into the video camera, and captures 18 pictures/second. You know that classic film reel sound? - that is the sound of 18-24 photos being taken per second & stitched together into a video! It is actually a very simple concept & I am super excited to be able to offer these videos. The film itself is only able to capture picture, not audio. SO, the videos will not have any sound from the day. If you are looking for a classic wedding video with vow audio, speech audio, etc., this is not the video for you. Anyway, the reel of film can take around 2.5 - 3 minutes worth of video and I will use it to capture little snippets throughout your session or wedding day. Its kind of like a highlight reel - you can get a good idea of this by watching the video to the right.
02. DEVELOP
After the film has been fully exposed, I will package it up in protective bubble wrapping & mail it off to a lab in California. This lab is the only one in North America that can fully process this special type of film. Once they receive the film in the mail, they will chemically process the super 8 film, creating negative images. From there, they will individually scan each negative image and turn it into a moving video (motion picture), upload it and send it back to me as a digital file.
03. EDIT
Once the digital file is in my possession, I will add music and lightly edit the videos. I do not do any colour grading or colour editing as I like the nostalgic colours of the film. I will, however, go in and edit out any clips that didn’t turn out, and fine tune the video. With film, there is always the risk that certain clips don’t turn out, so this is when I go in and perfect the video! After it is done, I will upload the video to a sharing platform and send it over to you!
Although not your typical wedding video, super 8 films are a very unique way to capture even more emotion and memories on your wedding day. These films can be added on to weddings, regular sessions, engagement sessions, & any other projects. My goal is to create nostalgic video that showcases in-between moments, little details, and a whole lot of love.
Super 8 videos are nostalgic, have beautiful film vibes, and texture that cannot be replicated by modern video equipment.
